The Vatican City State
The Vatican is a closed enclave, but this place is partially accessible to tourists. The Vatican Museum invites you to visit and the gardens of the Vatican are characterized by old gardening.
According to Countryaah, the Vatican City State is the smallest state in the world with 44ha and is completely enclosed by the territory of Italy. Entry, or better yet, entering the Vatican State is possible, but tourists have limited access. A day trip to the Vatican State is a good opportunity to make your stay in Rome a little more varied.
The head of state is the Pope, who is elected by the cardinals for life. He is the head of the Roman Catholic Church and holds a service in St. Peter’s Square every Wednesday. When attending church services, you should be respectful, and entering St. Stephen’s Cathedral with short clothing, ie: men with short trousers and women with short skirts, is prohibited! In addition, it is not common in Catholic churches for men to wear headgear, unlike in Judaism or Islam.
