Easter Brunch: Recipes and Decoides for the Easter Breakfast

The whole carnival rush is now behind us and the fasting has begun. Time to sit back, dress the apartment freshly and springily and to think about the first preparations for my Easter brunch.

An Easter brunch is a nice tradition with us every year. Family and friends sit together for hours on end, chat and enjoy loads of prepared delicacies. Mostly, many treats are served from hearty to sweet, so that everyone can get their money’s worth.

To a nice breakfast will definitely include fresh rolls and bread, jam, honey, cheese, and sausage. At Easter, however, we must not forget the variety of egg varieties.

Nobody wants to stand for hours in the kitchen, but enjoy the time with the guests and the family. That’s why I chose salmon rolls in the pancake coat. The pancakes can also be prepared quickly the day before and the rolls are made quickly:


Pancake ingredients (2 pieces):

  • 175 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 180 ml milk3
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp oil

Combine the flour with the eggs, milk and salt until smooth, then simmer for 30 minutes.

Heat some oil in the skillet and thinly cover the pan base with dough, while moving the pan so that the dough can run smoothly. At moderate heat, first bake the one side gold-yellow, and then let the other side also assume color. Pancake from the pan and allow to cool slightly.

Ingredients for filling:

  • 100 g of horseradish fresh cheese
  • 50 g of Schmand
  • 150 g smoked salmon slices
  • dill

Stir the cheese and the smoked meat and spread the pancakes. Pancake with smoked salmon. Pour the filled pancakes and cut into slices about 2 cm thick. Garnish with the fresh dill. If the pancake dough is left, you can also bake freshly made waffles!

The table decoration for the Easter breakfast is colorful and cheerful. Particularly beautiful is mixture of different pastel tones (lavender, yellow, apricot, pink) and old-tried colors like gray and white. These colors look light and fresh and are just right for a happy Easter brunch. The table is decorated with springy bouquets and potted flowers or flowering branches in the vase are decorated with colorful eggs. Different decoration bunnies are mixed on the table and hung on branches.

Also from the napkins are quickly folded small bunnies. This works best with a fabric poppet and goes very quickly:
