Arriving by plane

The Czech airline Czech Airlines (OK) (Internet: www.csa.cz) offers flight services to Prague from Frankfurt / M., Stuttgart, Düsseldorf and Hamburg.

Lufthansa (LH) flies directly from Frankfurt and Munich to Prague. Air Berlin (AB) flies from Berlin and Düsseldorf to Prague. Eurowings (EU) connects Vienna, Zurich and numerous major German cities with Prague. Austrian Airlines (OS) offers direct flights from Vienna to Prague, Swiss (LX) offers direct flights from Zurich, Basel and Geneva to Prague.

Frankfurt – Prague: 1 hour; Vienna – Prague: 50 min; Zurich – Prague: 1 hour 15 minutes

Arrival by car

Good road connections (European roads (E)) to all neighboring countries and border crossing points to Germany, Poland, Austria and the Slovak Republic. There are direct motorway connections via the A 6 and D 5 between Munich and Prague and between Nuremberg and Prague. There is also a continuous motorway connection between Dresden and Prague via the A17 and the D8.

The German border crossings are: Selb / As, Oberwiesenthal / Bozi Dar, Zinnwald / Cinovec, Waidhaus / Rozvadiv, Schafberg / Folmava, Breitenau etc. In Austria there are five large border crossings. Numerous bus connections (several times a week) are offered from Prague to most European cities: departure from ZOB Florenc (metro station) orZOB Zelivskeho (metro station) (Internet: www.vlak-bus.cz) to Vienna, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt / M., Berlin, Amsterdam, etc. Long-

Distance bus: Flixbus (Internet: www.flixbus.de) and Eurolines (Internet: www.eurolines.com) drive from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to the Czech Republic. The IC bus (Internet: www.bahn.de/p/view/angebote/fernbus/index.shtml) connects Prague with Munich, Mannheim, Heidelberg and Nuremberg. He also travels from Leipzig to Prague.
Arriving by train

Good connections to the Czech Republic (Euro / InterCity) from Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt, Cologne, Leipzig, Nuremberg, Munich, Würzburg, Vienna and Zurich. From Berlin-Ostbahnhof it takes 5 hours to get to Prague. The EC Hungaria travels to Budapest via Berlin, Dresden and Prague. Railjets connect Prague with Vienna and Graz every two hours.
