Some sites are so popular that when are linking a website or provide a video, generate a huge amount of traffic to that site. The YouTube began today testing a way to thank these sites for the link.
As you can see in the image above the line “as seen in” will display the brand and the website address that directed many users to the video in question. In the example, the video “The Muppets: Stand By Me” keeps a link to the news site Huffington Post. Although side of the mark only appears to the domain of the site, the link takes you directly to the page on which it was added.
No information on the criteria that YouTube is using to include such thanks. As is in the testing phase, it can stop being used at the same speed at which it was implemented.
