LG Cookie with Orange

At the end of September last year, LG announced without providing much information about its characteristics the KP500, known colloquially as Cookie, a terminal intended as alternative touch cheap low-end, for users who want to test new interfaces without having to make a large payment.

From this week the Cookie is the online store of Orange, the operator has named it as KP501 and at the moment has been done with him exclusively. The Cookie has an interface based on widgets that can handle with the fingers or the stylus built into its base. The display reaches a size of 3-inch, 240 × 400 pixels and 262.000 colors, accelerometer and is the element star Terminal, because the functions have been limited to keep the price affordable.

Did not find no 3G, no WiFi, no GPS, only include simple 3-megapixel camera and the 48MB of internal memory can be expanded up to 8GB with microSD cards. We thus see that the Cookie is nothing more than the annotated cheap option of the new universe of tactile terminals with enough care of only 11.5 mm thick design (106.5 × 55.4 × 11.5 mm total) and 89 grams of weight. USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR and FM radio complete to a mobile with a 900 mAh battery that give it a three-hour talk time and a half, and a 15 days standby time.

Orange It sold in two versions, white with green trim and silver with grey trim, from zero euros to customers of contract with portability and migration, and 39 to 79 euros with new high also to contract.
